I now know what is meant by the loneliness of space. We've been exploring a wormhole for almost a week now. Lots and lots of roids out here, the biggest I've ever found.
There's also a pirate POS out here. I've been sitting off their station about 45 - 100K for a lot of the week getting intel on their comings and goings. We stay cloaked unless we're launching probes or taking scanner readings on the belts we find, it's too dangerous not too.
The crew is holding up well but are getting a bit of cabin fever. They are a remarkable crew, the best I've ever had. We pass the time by playing cards when not on duty and organizing pick-up games of an old earth game, basketball. My scanner tech owes me 500 isk and keeps wanting to double or nothing, he's like a lamb to the slaughter.
We're currently looking for an exit hole with some stability, I need to give the crew a short break and pick up my next skill book to start reading while we're out on the next mission. With any luck we'll have a fresh wormhole in an hour or so. If we're really lucky it will be close to HQ!
